Amy & Dave | Denver Engagement & Wedding Photographer
If any of our photos have ever expressed the characters in front of the camera, these would have to be them! Amy & Dave are one of the most endearing, loveable, and genuine couples I think we have ever met. Since our first coffee date a few months back, we knew they were an awesome couple. Myself being from the YoungLife family, I felt like I had an immediate connection with newly engaged couple, and their engagement shoot only reiterated that feeling!
Amy and Dave are one of the most fun loving couple we have the honor of working with and immediately put a new element of lightheartedness and goofiness into their engagement shoot (but they work with YL…I’m pretty sure there’s a pre-req for being fun loving and goofy!) They happily followed direction to our absurd requests like, “go jump off that bench.” They never questioned it, just asked “How high? Out of the camera frame?” They laughed at my dumb jokes and mirrored my and Mike’s overzealous excitement for awesome photos that were only SOOC (straight out of the camera). We are so thrilled to be working with you, future Donley’s, and feel so honored to be a part of this wonderful journey that you’re on!
Cheers!

Courtnee + Cody | Denver Civic Center and Heritage Square Engagement Shoot
The quote Colorado obtained during last year’s spring season, “Go home Colorado, you’re drunk”, is reigning true again for this spring and seemed to be the theme for the days leading up to Cody and Courtnee’s engagement shoot. Courtnee had said she wanted a snowy engagement shoot, but knew full well that trying to plan around the Colorado weather was going to have its challenges. On Sunday, it was 60 and beautiful, Monday was a bit chillier but sunny. Tuesday it snowed ALL day at our house and in the mountains, but was totally clear in Denver. By Wednesday we weren’t sure if it was going to be nice with a fresh coat of snow, ugly with mud, or somewhere in middle. Lucky for us, we had the perfect sunny, warm, (and a little bit of snow in Golden) afternoon ahead of us!
We love couples like Courtnee and Cody. When we left their engagement shoot, Mike said, “People like those two are so easy to shoot, not because they were trying to work the camera necessarily, but because they’re always laughing and happy. I could snap a photo at any point and know at least one of them was going to be smiling and happy.” They truly are. You rarely hear stories about high school sweethearts anymore, but goodness, do we love those stories! Courtnee and Cody fell in love in high school and their deep love for each other shows in the way they talk and interact with each other. We are truly blessed and so honored to get so share this amazing journey with you two and can’t wait for your big day!
Cheers,
Taylor

Kimberly + Brett | Denver and Airport Engagement Shoot
When I was in college, I changed my major about 110 times, finally landing in the international studies field. I wanted to go places and see awesome areas! I never thought my degree would lead to running my own photography business and getting to see some of the coolest places ever! We met Kimberly and Brett over coffee about 2 months ago and when they mentioned shooting their engagement shoot at the Centennial airport, Mike and I were both elated! Through coordinating schedules, sickness, and poor weather conditions, we finally landed a Saturday morning when we were able to get in the hangar’s and take some awesome photos at Brett’s stomping grounds. Brett recently received his pilot license and after pulling a few strings, was able to get all of us into some of the coolest areas of the airport we’d probably never see otherwise.
Brett and Kim are honestly that couple that just makes my heart so happy. Their love and adoration for each other is undeniable and we are so overwhelmed with joy to get to experience these incredible months with the two of you! Bring on August 9!!!
Cheers,
Taylor

Jen + Ryan | Denver Engagement and Wedding Photographer
If anyone has had to experience the roller coaster of wedding planning, it’s Jen and Ryan. From date changes to venue changes, these two have been through quite the roller coaster to find their perfect venue at Villa Parker this upcoming summer! When I first chatted with Jen, she sounded like one of the sweetest people I’d ever meet. Needless to say, I was so excited when the stars aligned and their wedding date became available at the last minute!
During their engagement shoot, we got to do some really fun experiences we don’t normally get to do. Jen works for DaVita which just so happens to have one of the most amazing building in downtown Denver. When she suggested we grab some rooftop shots from their sky high building, Mike and I were all over it! We got a glimpse of Jen and Ryan’s life that we don’t normally get to see from the couples we work with. We got to see where Jen spends most of her days and hear all about the awesome company she works for! And I must say, the views from the top were absolutely incredible!
Thank you so much for an awesome morning, Jen and Ryan! We are so excited to get to work with you all!
Cheers!

Kate + Matt | Denver Colorado Winter Engagement Photographer
My goodness. If anyone ever questions whether or not Kate and Matt are hardcore Colorado-ans, I’ll just show them these photos! Despite the bitter cold, windy, and snowy morning, their winter wonderland engagement photos turned out so beautifully!
Now, I know just as much as the next gal that when we see winter engagement photos, we get all cozy and warm. However, we never consider the freezing temperatures, piercing wind, and wet snow. Despite those elements, Kate and Matt rocked their engagement shoot! I’m not going to lie, I waited until 6:50am for a phone call from them saying, “Yea, we’re staying right where we are in our PJ’s with hot cocoa…” but that call never came. Their optimism, absolutely stunning smiles, and Matt’s constant giggles made the shoot so fun! We had a great time and finally decided to make the most of the snow when they brought our their skis and decided to have race to warm up. Check out a few of our favorites below!
We are so excited for your fall wedding this year, Kate and Matt! You are an amazing couple and we are so thankful we get to work with you two during this amazing chapter of your lives!
Cheers,
Taylor
