What started out as a joke about what we wanted for Christmas soon became one of our most memorable adventures. Mike and I love to travel and Iceland had always seemed like an appealing but unobtainable destination. However, after a little research and a lot of planning, we decided to book our plane tickets as our Christmas gift to each other! We went in May 2015 and experienced some of the most incredible terrain on the planet, some of the harshest weather conditions, and some of the best moments of our marriage on this trip. We’re so excited to finally share photos (both camera and iPhone) of our excursions in our tent, on the Arctic ocean, whale watching, and cafe hopping (my personal favorite thing to do in new countries).
Enjoy!
