They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. Well, that may be so, but I believe better luck was what happened at Renee and Mike’s rustic mountain wedding! Although fire season is upon us in Colorado this time of year, 2014 has decided to bless us with immense thunderstorms, tornado warnings, and copious amounts of rain. Great for fires, terrifying for weddings. Despite the downpour of rain only minutes prior to the newlywed’s wedding ceremony starting, the entirety of their ceremony and photo shoot we were gifted with amazingly beautiful storm clouds without the rain. Literally, the moment we finished Mike and Renee’s portraits, the rain started and the lighting and thunder followed quickly behind as we raced to the reception hall at the Shupe Homestead.
Renee and Mike, you are a beautiful couple with super awesome friends! We are so excited for your lovely marriage and thank you for having us be apart of such a beautiful day!
Cheers,
Taylor & Mike
