If ever there was a couple who deserved to be happily engaged, it’s Brittany and Trevor. Being a wedding planner herself, Brittany thrives off of marriage, love, and other people’s happiness. She’ll do absolutely anything for anyone without even thinking twice about her own interests. When Trevor called to tell me he was planning on proposing to the love of his life right after her 30th birthday and a surprise trip to Chicago, I was elated! Literally, I ran around the house squealing and giddy as a school girl knowing that Brittany was finally going to get to plan her own wedding with the man she loved!
After getting off a plane in Denver from her surprise birthday trip to Chicago, Trevor had plans to take Brittany on a helicopter ride from Broomfield to the Ken Caryl Manor House. Little did she know that the ride was going to end with her life changing! In the midst of the rain, Trevor got down on one knee and the soon-to-be bride started grinning ear-to-ear as she realized what he was doing. “I had a lot I was going to say, but all I could get out was ‘Will you marry me?'” Trevor said when we met up with them. Brittany said, “I had no idea! I thought it would be another year or two!”
